International Home Buyers - You need Larry! 

My spouse and I recently came to work in Edmonton from Australia.  We were helped by Larry on two occasions over a period of a year.  The first time, we had one week to purchase a Condo, as part of an employer sponsored visit, and the second time we found a perfect single dwelling residence which Larry helped us to successfully purchase.  

On our first visit, Larry not only had to show us a multiple properties in a few days.  He also had to educate us about financing, condo fees, condo docs and Provincial housing regulations as well as the transportation network in the city.  He did an incredible job of teaching "real estate 101 for new Albertans' , all the while maintaining a cheerful demeanour as we equivocated and (finally!) decided on a condo.  Larry's unparalleled knowledge of the market and frank advice were absolute assets during this visit and helped us make what turned out to be a very good decision not to buy at that time.  

Almost a year later a property in the neighbourhood where we were renting became available. We contacted Larry straight away.  He helped us to navigate all the questions related to title and permissions as well as inspections and recommendations for lawyers needed to complete the purchase.  The process would have been so much more complicated and fraught with pitfalls for us as international buyers without Larry's constant guidance and sophisticated negotiating skills.  

We have already recommended him to a friend who is looking for a new home.  We will continue to do so as long as we live in this town and Larry is working in it!
